We had begun to speculate that if and when my water finally broke it would somehow interfere with viewing the final episode of the West Wing. I am happy to announce (I know, I know, hold back your surprise that the pregnant beast is saying something pleasant) that I held things together through the West Wing. I have been having contractions about every five minutes or less since a few minutes before the show began. It’s now close to 10:30 and they are coming closer, longer and harder. Sooooo, we’re going to wait a while, hopefully until things get noticeably more intense so that we can avoid that humiliating trip back from the hospital when they say, “Nope, sorry, you aren’t quite ready yet.”…
